Learn how to make the most of picturebooks

Thursday, January 9, 2020

Top CPD sessions at the Nursery World Show include a vital look at best practice in using picturebooks.

With the revised EYFS placing far greater emphasis on building vocabulary and reading books to young children, hear advice on how to build up and make the most of an affordable, high-quality picturebook ‘library’ in a great seminar from Andy McCormack.

Andy is an early years teacher studying for his PhD at the Centre for Research in Children's Literature, University of Cambridge. He is currently writing a series on picturebooks for Nursery World, which began with 'wordless' titles in our 6 January issue.
