Nursery World Exchange

Nursery World Exchange is a series of events bringing together senior nursery group directors and leading early years resources and equipment suppliers for a day of networking in top hotels in tranquil surroundings.
The events involve nursery directors having a number of mini-meetings with early years suppliers at which they can discuss their settings’ requirements for equipment, resources and training, and build valuable contacts.
Included in the day is a keynote speech from a leading early years expert about the latest developments in policy and practice, such as the Ofsted Framework and the revisions to the EYFS, and how nurseries need to respond.
These events are free to attend for nursery directors and include a sociable evening meal, a light-hearted quiz and complimentary overnight stay.
Join us for our next Nursery World Exchange at Chilworth Manor Hotel, Chilworth, Southampton, Hampshire, SO16 7PT.

Our previous Exchange events
There have been 11 Nursery World Exchange events to date, most recently at The Hilton at DoubleTree at Cheltenham.
The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate (pictured below) on 22 June, gave nurseries and suppliers the chance to meet each other, take part in a fun quiz, and enjoy dinner and drinks. The keynote speech was given by Aaron Bradbury, Principal Lecturer for Early Years and Childhood at Nottingham Trent University, based on his book co-edited with Ruth Swailes, Early Childhood Theories Today.
Previous Exchange events have also included the 6th Nursery World Exchange at DoubleTree Hilton Sheffield on 9 June 2022. It was great for early years suppliers and providers to meet in the North and have lots of valuable conversations. Pennie Akehurst's keynote speech looked at Ofsted trends. Nursery World Editor Karen Faux chaired a lively quiz, which was followed by a very sociable dinner and drinks.
Our 5th Nursery World Exchange at the DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham on 24 March was a busy, bustling and brilliant event, with a series of really productive meetings, a light-hearted quiz, music from Boogie Mites and NW's Liz Roberts, and a great evening socialising over dinner and drinks. Cheryl Hadland gave a vital keynote on sustainable development.
