The UK's leading early years show returns in 2023 with another packed programme offering two days of unrivalled insight, inspiration and innovation.
The Nursery World Show 2023 is back at the Business Design Centre in London on 3 and 4 February. Visitors will receive expert support and advice in CPD seminars and masterclasses, explore the latest resources, services and solutions in the wide-ranging exhibition and enjoy free-to-attend content in the exciting feature zones.
The two-day show includes:
- 28 CPD-certified seminars over two days
- Two three-hour masterclasses featuring expert speakers on the topics ’Supporting Children to Fulfil their Potential’, and ‘Does your curriculum tie-in with your setting ethos?’
- Two panel discussions on ‘Staffing the sector – the challenges we all face’, and ‘Playing or learning?’
- Exhibition with demonstrations from leading early years suppliers
- Live Theatre, Let's Talk Best Practice Forum, and Early Years Resources and Learning Zone.
The Nursery World Show is free to attend – all visitors have full access to the exhibition, the free live theatre and any themed zones. There are Early Bird rates available now to book for CPD seminar and masterclass sessions.
The Friday masterclass will focus on moving forward from Covid, using assessment to support individual needs, weaving your community into your curriculum, and the cultural capital of language. Speakers are: Dr Julian Grenier, headteacher at Sheringham Nursery School and Children’s centre in Newham, and director of the East London Research School; international early childhood consultant Sue Asquith; early years anti-racist trainer and consultant Liz Pemberton, and Wendy Ratcliff, HMI, Ofsted.
On Saturday, the masterclass will unpick where the curriculum sits in an early years setting, how the entire team are empowered to work to the same vision, and how this can be effectively shared with families, the community and Ofsted.
Speakers are: Pennie Akehurst, managing director, Early Years Fundamentals; Adam Marycz, early years teacher, manager and writer; Gemma Thomas-Bohr, creator of Pure Imaginations with Gemma ‘the parent-friendly imaginative experience centre for babies and toddlers.
Book the masterclasses for the special rate of £75, plus VAT, and seminars and panel discussions at £17 plus VAT until 9 December.
