All of us constantly control everyday things using information and communication technology (ICT). Just think how many we come across in the average day: washing machines, pedestrian crossings, DVD players, mobile phones, photocopiers - all examples of control technology. It'll be that time of year again before you know it, and the Complete Nativity Set from Holz could make a useful addition to your store of props. The set includes the stable, Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus and manger, the Angel Gabriel and a kneeling angel, three kings, two camels, a shepherd boy, a sheep, ram, cow, calf and donkey. The set is made from handcrafted wood sourced from indigenous European managed forests, rather than from a single species, and the paints are non-toxic. This set is designed to be handled and played with by the children and can be used all year round as a farm. A set of farm animals and people is also available, which includes a man, woman and two children, a shepherd boy, a ram, two sheep, three lambs, a horse and foal, two pigs and two piglets, a cow and calf and a goat and kid. The Nativity Set is priced 195 and the farm animals and people set is priced 125.
