Eight Keys to Parenting Children with ADHD

Monday, November 2, 2015

ADHD is the most common behavioural disorder in the UK.

The book notes that while it has been linked with poor parenting and diet, the disorder is actually present from birth and relates to the structure of the brain. While the book is US specific, it contains eight ‘key’ concepts aimed at reducing chaos, improving co-operation, and nurturing creativity and drive that often accompany ADHD – useful for anyone working with children with the condition. It is based on author Cindy Goldrich’s seven-session workshop. Also contains list of useful books and websites.
