What is the future for early years education?

This event will consider the effect of Government reforms of replacing play and child-centred practice with more formal teaching and testing on children in the early years.

Speakers include-Dr Richard House of the 'Too much too soon' campaign, Dr simon Boxley, senior lecturer in education at the University of Winchester and Emma Cook of One World Nursery in Brighton and Pen Green Children's Centre and Research Base.

The event will be chaired by Erica Evans, senior lecturer in education at the University of Brighton.
