STAR PHOTO - At the Car Wash

Children at FRS Kindergarten in Finchley were excited to wash a real car outside. After putting on their wetsuits and wellies, they used large sponges to squeeze and wipe, and sponge rollers, to exercise their gross motor movements.

It was a great way to get lots of engaging conversation going too, with new and technical language being used such as ‘engine, ‘hubcap’ and ‘wing mirror’. Children were keen to see what was inside the bonnet and had interesting questions about the tread depth on the wheels.
