Eco Tywi is the first non-plastic Cylch Meithrin (Welsh-medium pre-school) in Wales. Apart from the PPE required due to the pandemic, it does not use single-use plastic, and most toys are made of wood, stone or are recycled.
Lleucu Angharad Edwards, the leader of Cylch Meithrin Eco Tywi, said, ‘It’s great to be able to give the children of Carmarthen the opportunity to learn to live a sustainable life.’
