Brenda Crowe's wonderful book Play Is A Feeling, by Brenda Crowe, is packed with a wealth of childhood play memories. It is a real eye-opener, providing a fantastic insight into the world through a child's eyes.

One of my favourite organisations is the UK adoption website http://www.adoptionuk.org/ I am a great supporter of its work as I was adopted myself as a baby. Brought up in a loving home I found my birth parents later in life and enjoy a relationship with many half brothers and sisters.

I have discovered Teachers Pet website and Facebook page www.tpet.co.uk. The website is free to use and provides beautiful and useful display resources for early years. It also has an activities website which costs £12 to subscribe for a year and has loads of lovely downloadable resources.

I received my Walking Wagon in December and it has absolutely revolutionised my life! It has space for up to five little ones and has all the various safety measures - harnesses, child seats, etc. I can put all the children in while still inside my house (yes, it fits through the front door), transport them safely all the way into the school playground and back again.
