Dunky’s Day Nursery in Farnworth hosted a charity fun day in aid of the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.
The event was attended by families, friends, neighbours and the Mayor and Mayoress of Halton, who enjoyed activities including lucky dips, raffles and hook-a-duck.
The nursery raised £700 for the charity, which provides experiences for children who have missed out on the normalities of childhood.
The trust runs Booth Bank Farm, a 17th century farmhouse set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, which provides free holidays and day trips for children with severe disabilities and illnesses, and their families.
