Rothesay Nursery School in Luton has been chosen as an Ambassador School for mental health and wellbeing in recognition of the setting making a positive impact on children and the wider community by focusing on emotional health.
It is thought the nursery school is the first early years setting in the UK to be awarded the title by Thrive, which trains teachers and other education professionals to support children's emotional and social development.
