STAR PHOTO - Skydive for Cerys

Monday, November 26, 2018

Three practitioners from Tops Day Nurseries in Wareham took part in a sponsored skydive and raised a total of £1,405 for three-year-old Cerys Mann who attends the nursery.

In April 2017, Cerys was diagnosed with bilateral spastic cerebral palsy, which affects her legs and right arm. Other Tops nurseries in Dorset and Taunton have held fundraising events, as well as a £5,000 donation from the Hadland Group Employee Trust, which owns Tops. The money will help fund an operation called selective dorsal rhizotomy to improve Cerys’s mobility and allow her to be pain-free.
