A giant 7.5ft sunflower has captured the imagination of the green-fingered children at Tonge Nursery at Tonge Children’s Centre in Bolton.
The sunflower is one of many plants the children have been looking after in the nursery garden this summer as part of their growing project, encouraging learning about nature and the outdoors through singing, watering plants and caring for the environment.
