Second woman charged in child abuse investigation

A second woman has been charged in connection with the child abuse investigation at Little Ted's nursery in Plymouth (News, 18 June).
Angela Allen, 39, of Bulwell, Nottinghamshire, has been charged withfour counts of sexual assault, four counts of possessing indecentphotographs and four counts of distributing indecent photographs. Sheappeared at Nottingham magistrates court on 20 June and was remanded incustody. Two men, a 21-year-old and an 18-year-old, who were arrested atthe same time, were released without charge.
