Art attack

We tried out the paint and laminate pouches activity (Art and Craft, Nursery World, 29 March). Unfortunately, we followed the given instructions to the letter and all we resulted in achieving was getting a laminate wallet stuck in the laminator machine and burning paint on to the roller.
We thought that we should bring this to your attention and hope thatnobody else has encountered similar problems.
