The Liberal Democrats beat both Labour and the Conservatives by a substantial margin in an internet poll conducted by Nursery World during the general election campaign. Visitors to our website were asked which party they would vote for based solely on manifesto pledges for the early years sector. Fifty per cent of people polled by last Friday chose the Liberal Democrats, with 22 per cent for the Tories and18 per cent for Labour. The full results can be found at www.nursery-world.com
