(Photograph) - Childcarers let fly 500 balloons to celebrate the opening of Sure Start Greater Southwick's Maplewood Centre last month. The centre, for children aged nought to four and their families, includes a Dads and Kids Club, parent craft courses, family nurturing and toddler groups. At the opening, certificates were presented to expectant mothers who completed a 'Bumps 2 Babes' course preparing them for parenthood, and a commemorative plaque was unveiled by Marley Tots, a group of parents who plan activities at the centre and buy equipment.
