Kids Allowed plans sixth nursery

The new site on the A56 Manchester Road will open in September 2014, providing places for 160 children and creating 65 jobs.

Kids Allowed currently has sites in Cheadle Royal, Christie Fields, Macclesfield and Knutsford and work is underway on a fifth nursery to open in Stockport later this year.

Jennie Johnson, the founder of Kids Allowed, said, ‘We are delighted to announce that we will be opening a Kids Allowed in Altrincham. Our childcare centres provide high quality childcare as well as meeting the needs and expectations of family life. We know there is an under provision of childcare in Altrincham with many parents struggling to find a nursery place.

‘We are confident that our Altrincham centre will be just as popular as our other five centres and we expect demand for places to be high.’

The purpose- built nursery will have a number of features including age-specific rooms with their own access to the garden and a multi-sensory room. There will be one-way porthole windows which will allow parents to watch their children settle in without disturbing them. Biometric fingerprint technology will also mean that only staff members and parents can enter the premises. The centre will be completed with a state-of-the-art rooftop garden. An on-site chef will provide the catering with a variety of dishes that will be certified as nutritionally balanced.

The Kids Allowed brand was created by Jennie Johnson who wanted to create a unique childcare centre that puts children at the centre of everything they do and improves the quality of family life. The new centre will make Kids Allowed the largest provider of childcare in the south Manchester/Cheshire area.
