The Association is now a limited company registered at Companies House - SINA (Scotland) Ltd, with a board of ten directors who will co-ordinate policy, chaired by Penelope Kilpatrick of Pinetrees Nursery in Ayr.
SINA is to have its own dedicated premises for the first time from the end of this month, including new purpose-designed conference, training and resource facilities. Ms Kilpatrick said, 'We are thrilled to have at last a base perfectly equipped to benefit our increasing membership and to carry forward the exciting projects we have in the pipeline. We would specifically like to acknowledge the support and encouragement given by the other Scottish umbrella childcare organisations.'
