Only if you ask

Further to the feature 'Data control' (29 May), access to information is important for all parents seeking childminders, but this should be done on a more personal basis. If, when parents look for a nursery place on the internet the personal details of its staff are unavailable for perusal, why should my details be available? Surely the first contact should be via the internet or a contact number at the local early years team.
