Nanny of the year

Nannies recieved some well-deserved recognition at the Hampshire Nanny of the Year award last month. Winchester-based agency Family Match sponsored the annual award and families nominated nannieas for their skills and dedication. Dianne Baker, winner of Nanny of the Year, and runner-up Clare Hedger were presented with cash prizes by BBC TV presenter Sally Taylor, who shared the judging woth Belinda Oaten, Sue Harrison of Andover's Cricklade College, and family match managing director Jenny Warner. Nannies Alison Bannerman, Zoe Compton and Julia Remnant were highly Commended and also attended the ceremony in Winchester. 'By presenting these awards to five of the top nannies in Hampshire, awareness has raised of the need to select with care to those nannies offering the highest standards in childcare,' Ms Warner said.
