I agree that early years workers should be highly qualified and haveaccess to high quality training to enable them to progress and gain thenecessary skills to carry out their particular role.
Carol states that she is as fed up as many of us are with the confusionand constant moving of the goalposts and raising of hoops in order togain the required qualification level to even start the process ofbecoming an EYP.
I have raised the issue that there should be a more user-friendlyapproach, so experienced level 3 practitioners are able to completemodules in their current workplace, which will enable them to build upcredits rising up the level until they meet EYP standards.
