The second phase of a UK-wide consultation on proposals to revise the values and assumptions that inform playwork training has been launched by Play Wales, the national organisation for play in Wales. More than 70 responses were received during the first phase of the consultation earlier this year. Play Wales has been funded by the Welsh Assembly and backed by the main play organisations nationwide to review the values and ensure that they reflect the most recent developments within the sector. The organisation hopes to hear the views of everyone involved in children's play and playwork. The consultation ends on 10 September and can be downloaded at www.playwales.org.uk or phone029 2048 6050.
