The EEF is looking for six Early Years Evidence Advocates, working across the PVI and maintained sectors for an initial two year period.

Advocates will connect research to day-to-day practice and champion the use of evidence to improve outcomes for young children, particularly those from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

The role will include:

Advocates will receive a package of support including induction into EEF’s evidence standards, training on early years research, access to the latest evidence, and membership of a peer community.

Early years providers whose staff are successful will be remunerated financially, with each ‘host organisation’ receiving a grant of £24,000 to cover the time advocates spend out of their setting – approximately 30 days per academic year, the equivalent of around three days a month.
