Children are offered a choice of milk or water at snack time and have drinking water available during the session. We do not provide 'the usual milk and a biscuit' but offer a variety of fruit each day along with a piece of toast, a cracker or different breads.
Some children are reluctant to try new things, but in a small group they can be encouraged just to taste a little piece if the adult tries some first.
