(Photograph) - Four-year-old Shakir Chaudhery from Leicester was among the nine winners of the National Childcare Week art competition who gathered at London Zoo for a special awards ceremony on 18 June. The competition, organised by Nursery World and the Daycare Trust, in association with Care Aware, asked children to draw what they liked best about their childcare. The awards were presented by Karen Buck MP. Shakir took first place in the under-fives category, with his painting of his friend Umar. , before the children, their families and their carers were let loose to go wild in the zoo.
