Early years professionials can help themselves to free comprehensive advice on food and nutrition, thanks to a Children's Food Advisory Service introduced by the organic food company Organix. A survey carried out by the company found that 85 per cent of nurseries care for children who have special nutritional requirements. The advisory service provides a website, free telephone helpline and e-mail where professionals can contact independent experts for advice on nutrition issues. Users can receive a folder with useful information and posters. Early years professionals can register at the website www.childrensfood.org, by freephone 0800 996 1114 or by writing to Freepost BH1 336, Christchurch, Dorset BH23 2ZZ.
