For its survey this year, childhood education platform and management system, Tapestry, is looking to hear early years educators’ views on artificial intelligence (AI), wellbeing and engagement with families.

In its sixth year, the survey asks respondents about their use of AI and whether they have any concerns about its use in the early years.

It also includes questions about early years educators’ approaches to engaging parents and carers and how communication has evolved since the pandemic.

The survey asks respondents how they feel about working in the sector, what they enjoy most, what they find hardest and overall how they feel about their role.

Dr Helen Edwards, co-founder of Tapestry, said, ‘I am particularly interested to hear how settings are working with families. As a former teacher and nursery owner I know it can be a challenge to develop the right strategies to support all your families to feel able to engage. It will also be interesting to compare previous survey findings and explore how parental engagement has evolved since the pandemic.
