Climb every mountain for sick children

* The co-founder of the Teddies Nurseries chain is climbing African mountains to raise money for chronically or terminally ill children. Amanda Johnson, who is now managing director of overseas recruitment company Psycad UK, is heading for the 19,000-foot peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in Kenya at the end of May to raise funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation charity. She is currently training for the climb with a team of four friends.

Ms Johnson said, 'We will be ascending on the Kenyan side and will experience the wilderness and sheer beauty of the mountain and its surroundings - definitely an ultimate experience.'
