Amanda Gould

(Photograph) - Amanda Gould, a training and development manager with Stockport Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership, trekked to the base camp of Mount Everest in Nepal to raise more than Pounds 1,200 for the Christie Hospital. Now she is setting her sights on climbing Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, in aid of the cancer centre that treated her late father. She said, 'Christie's prolonged my dad's life and gave him such good care that I want to help them as much as I can.' For fundraising details contact Lisa Hawkins at Christie Appeals on 0161 446 3988.
