Children from the Dalmuir early education and childcare centre, near Clydebank in Glasgow, will be tested for pulmonary tuberculosis this week, after it was revealed that a nursery teacher who works there has contracted the disease. A spokeswoman from the public health protection unit of Greater Glasgow NHS confirmed that screening of all 95 children from the centre would start on 3 February and it would be about seven days before results could be confirmed.
