The organisation, which owns and operates the 36-strong chain of Teddies Nurseries, provides childcare for more than 50,000 UK employees and currently runs six holiday clubs across the UK.
On Monday it announced that it was set to expand its school holiday provision with 96 places over four Westminster-based sites: the Treasury, the Cabinet, the DfES and the Department for International Development.
The clubs, which were previously run by Westminster Play Centre Service, part of Westminster Play Association, provide 5,184 childcare places per year for children aged five to 12. Metropolitan Police employees, as well as 30 Government departments, are also able to access the holiday childcare.
Toni Rose, senior development manager at BUPA Childcare, said that subject to Ofsted registration, the first holiday clubs would open in October.
She said, 'BUPA understands the stresses and strains of modern-day family life, and our childcare services allow employees to concentrate on their work, without the distraction of childcare worries. Our research shows that childcare also improves overall staff morale, efficiency, absenteeism and commitment, which in turn reduces the costs of recruiting and training replacement staff.'
She added that all BUPA's playworkers will receive training specifically for the role and at least half of all the holiday club workers will hold professional childcare qualifications.
