Understanding and supporting schemas

Thursday, December 17, 2015

Every early years practitioner needs to know about schemas, and our seminar at the Nursery World show 2016 will be full of useful information.

Find out the essential role of these 'repeated patterns of behaviour' in children's early learning and how to integrate them into your planning process.

Speaker: Julie Brierley, owner of Harlequin Day Nursery and Pre-School, Scarborough, and lecturer in early years at the University of Hull. Her doctoral research project looked at two-year-olds' schemas and she is now co-writing a book with Prof Cathy Nutbrown on the subject.
