Teach Kids Meditation
Company: Connected Kids
Age range: from 2 years
This course is designed to teach adults how to help children relax and reduce anxiety and stress with mindful activities and meditation. It was founded by author and international trainer Lorraine E Murray in 2003. She has trained more than 30,000 people worldwide on how to teach young children meditation.
One of the settings used this during ‘winding down’ time before sleep in the toddler room and helping the pre-school children to focus on listening to their bodies. The children enjoyed the resource and it was generally thought that with more time and repetition, this would be a beneficial resource for them.
The book, which should be read first, gives good descriptions of how to work mindfully with the children, and it is accompanied by an online course.
