BBC East Midlands visited the Old Forge Day Nursery in Findern Village, Derbyshire to film the children’s activities for Climate Change Day on 20 September, which focused on limiting their carbon footprint.
Children spent the day outside cooking over the fire, and turning off all electricity, and they made bug shelters, animal shelters and bird feeders to use on an ongoing basis.
