The Nursery World Show returns in February, with masterclasses, panel debates, and an expanded line-up of seminars, for everyone in the early years community.

The annual event returns to the Business Design Centre in Islington, London on 3 and 4 February.

The two-day show includes:

  • 28 CPD-certified seminars over two days
  • Two three-hour masterclasses featuring expert speakers on the topics ’Supporting Children to Fulfil their Potential’, and ‘Does your curriculum tie-in with your setting ethos?’
  • Two panel discussions on ‘Staffing the sector – the challenges we all face’, and ‘Playing or learning?’
  • Exhibition with demonstrations from leading early years suppliers
  • Live theatre

The Nursery World Show is free to attend – all visitors have full access to the exhibition, the free live theatre and any themed zones. There are Early Bird rates available now to attend CPD seminar and masterclass sessions.

The Friday masterclass will focus on moving forward from Covid, using assessment to support individual needs, weaving your community into your curriculum, and the cultural capital of language. Speakers are: Dr Julian Grenier, headteacher at Sheringham Nursery School and Children’s centre in Newham, and director of the East London Research School; international early childhood consultant Sue Asquith; earl years ant-racist trainer and consultant Liz Pemberton, and Wendy Ratcliff, HMI, Ofsted.

On Saturday, the masterclass will unpick where the curriculum sits in an early years setting, how the entire team are empowered to work to the same vision, and how this can be effectively shared with families, the community and Ofsted. 

Speakers are: Pennie Akehurst, managing director, Early Years Fundamentals; Adam Marycz, early years teacher, manager and writer; Gemma Thomas-Bohr, creator of Pure Imaginations with Gemma ‘the parent-friendly imaginative experience centre for babies and toddlers.
