Wellies filled with fabrics and materials march around a sensory board in the garden at Abbots Manor Community Childcare Centre in London. The centre, which is owned by Westminster Children's Society (WCS), was delighted when eight employees from global resources company BHP Billiton undertook a challenge to transform the garden area. The volunteers replaced fence panels, created sensory boards and designed a herb garden. They built a discovery area, complete with decking, bark chippings, a bat box, bird bath and wind chimes. BHP Billiton also helped WCS last year, when the company donated 25,000 to help build a new children's centre in south Westminster. Photo Anna Gordon
