Think tank calls for vetting and barring to be scrapped

In a new Civitas study, 'Licensed to Hug', authors Frank Furedi, professor of sociology at the University of Kent, and Jennie Bristow, who wrote Standing Up to Supernanny, claim that the scheme goes against the Government's Big Society idea and call for a radical new approach to the way adults and children can interact.
