The Lord Mayor of Coventry, Councillor Shabbir Ahmed, attended the openings of two new children's centres last month. Inaugural vents at the Stoke Heath Children's Centre and Bell Green Children's Centre's were marked by balloon launches, while local policemen and firemen joined in the celebrations. Each family who came to the openings were offered a free gift and given tours of the centres.
