The Children's Commissioner for Wales, Peter Clarke, has died at the age of 58. Mr Clarke, who took up the post in March 2001, was also the director of Childline Cymru for over five years. The Welsh minister for education, lifelong learning and skills, Jane Davidson, said, 'I pay tribute to him for his determination in ensuring that children's voices are heard loudly and clearly by policymakers.'
