The chief executive of Coram Family has resigned after a disagreement with the charity's governors. Honor Rhodes, who was appointed in March last year, said she had been 'very happy' at the charity and has the 'highest regard for the work which is being undertaken by colleagues'. But she added, 'I have come to feel that there is a divergence of opinion between the governors and myself about the future direction of the charity.' Sir Christopher Benson, chairman of Coram Family, said that the charity 'understood' her reasons for leaving and thanked her for the commitment and enthusiasm that she brought to her work. Ms Rhodes, who worked in social care for 25 years, joined the charity from the Family Welfare Association.
