group has been named Scotland's Small Company of the Year, following its acquisition of three new day nurseries. The chain won in the Company Excellence category at the Deals and Dealmakers Awards 2002, given by the business publication Scottish Business Insider. The nurseries in Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh, acquired from Leapfrog, are located in Next Generation health and leisure clubs. Jim Faulds, Careshare non-executive director, said, 'We are delighted to have won this award. The acquisition of these three nurseries gave us the opportunity to develop a niche within the leisure sector and has helped us to improve our company performance.'
