The scheme, which offers last-minute nursery places or nannies to working parents whose normal childcare has fallen through, has more than 600 nurseries on its database, including chains Busy Bees, Teddies and Asquith, as well as 1,000 registered childminders. Organisations using it include the Metropolitan Police, Volkswagen and the NHS.
