(Photograph) - Sure Start minister Catherine Ashton officially opened Crocus Early Years Centre's 50-place nursery at Great Connard Upper School in Sudbury, Suffolk, on 12 November. She said, 'Crocus and Great Connard Upper School are demonstrating one exciting way in which the Government's extended schools policy can be taken forward.' Crocus has just been awarded the National Day Nurseries Association's Quality Counts kitemark for its two other nurseries at Saffron Walden County High School in Essex and the Wellcome Trust setting in Cambridge.
