Supporting men who are caring for children is the theme of a conference to be held in Edinburgh on 1 November. Organised by One Parent Families Scotland and Men in Childcare, the conference hopes to bring together men who work in childcare and men who are lone fathers. The conference will be addressed by Cathy Jamieson, Scottish minister for education and young people. Participants can also hear about the success of two Edinburgh-based projects, the Dads' Club and Men in Childcare, as well as research and practical experience from other parts of the UK, Norway and Belgium.
