- What does your job entail?
I help staff develop their skills and qualifications by providingtraining, whether in-house, formal or CPD. I oversee staff appraisalstwice a year, looking at both their professional and personaldevelopment and how we can help them grow.
- How long have you been a training manager?
For three years at the Children's House. I used to be a PA for a managerof a nursery chain, and after doing a humanities degree taught businessstart-up to adults. But I wanted to get back into childcare as I find itreally rewarding, so joined the organisation working on a one-yearproject with the consultancy arm before gaining the post of trainingmanager.
