- How did you feel about receiving an MBE for services to children andfamilies in the New Year Honours List?
It came as a big surprise. I was thrilled and honoured. It's nice thatthe work at the centre has been recognised. However, the success of thecentre is not just down to me but the great team of staff and thecommunity who are really supportive and pull together.
- How did you celebrate?
We had a double celebration, with a New Year's party that was alreadyplanned. My family, friends and members of staff were over the moon whenthey heard the news.
