Rosemary Murphy, former chief executive of the National Day Nurseries Association, addressed the Childcare Queensland annual three-day conference in Australia last week on the role of day nurseries in the delivery of the national childcare agenda in Britain and the effects of growth on the sector. On 18 May, Ms Murphy will address the World Forum on Early Care and Education in Montreal, Canada, attended by representatives from 80 countries. Ms Murphy said, 'The UK has a great deal of experience to offer other countries. I hope to both share this advice and gain valuable information.'
