Richmond-upon-Thames council receives funds to develop network of children's centres

Richmond-upon-Thames council in London has received 2.5m to develop a network of children's centres. Two centres in the Ham/ Petersham and Heathfield/Whitton areas will open in April 2008. Further centres are planned in Mortlake, Barnes, Kew, South Richmond, Hampton and Hampton North, and West Twickenham by 2010.
