Redbridge Pre-school learning Alliance Mobile Toy Library

(Photograph) - Toys will be coming to children and their carers with this month's launch of a mobile toy library by members of Redbridge Pre-school Learning Alliance. The toy library is being run by the Alliance in partnership with Redbridge Council's Children's Information Service, the local Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership and Loxford Sure Start. It will travel across the east London borough, giving parents and carers, childminders and pre-school settings the opportunity to borrow a wide range of high-quality educational toys and equipment, including as stair gates, car seats and special care resources. The borough's original toy library was set up in 1995 with the support of Linda Perham MP, the Mayor of Redbridge at that time. Photo Carol James
